Trent Kidd is yet another BC native tearing up slopestyle courses and bike parks. His style is extremely flowy with great big mountain moves combined with amazing dirt jumping techniques. He is evolving to become a major contender on the mountain bike scene.
He was given his first bike when he was 3 and has been riding on and off ever since. "I really started riding hard in 2003", says Trent. "I was turned on to freeriding by watching the movies and seeing people killing it on the trails and blasting jumps."
Trent also has a passion for trail building. You can see his efforts in the latest Kranked film. The line that Trent built for PROGRESSION - Kranked 6 is simply sick. It features a gap to a 360-degree wall ride then a skinny to a road gap. According to Trent, the challenge was trying to stick in the wall ride without falling out. Unfortunately, the line has now been destroyed because of a forest fire.
Trent is continuing to compete in major bike competitions and perform in mountain bike films.
